Hockey & Skating
The Winnipeg Winter Club’s Dominion Securities Centre offers a variety of ice sports for everyone to enjoy! The regulation-size ice rink offers year-round skating for all ages. If your interest lies in hockey we provide a member hockey program for adults four times a week; for the children we provide developmental hockey programs to enhance their skills.
Members can participate in learn-to-skate, hockey, figure skating and open skating. There is a skating program for everyone in the family to enjoy!
Aquatics
From infants to seniors, our indoor pool is perfect for your family! The pool is sixty feet long and twenty-five feet wide, with four lanes available for the endurance minded swimmer.
The Aquatics Centre is full of recreational programs to suit every need!
Learn to swim in our Red Cross Swim Kids Program or stay in shape with an Aquafit Class or arrange for a private or semi-private swimming lesson.
There’s lots of free time to swim for pleasure too!
Tennis
Enjoy tennis year-round on our three premiere plexipave indoor courts. Our courts are highly utilized and shared among members who book and play casually, members who partake in our Doubles leagues/clinics for all playing levels, and lessons which include private/semi-private and a host of group junior programs from beginning level all the way to Provincial/National training.
In addition, we offer a variety of social nights, singles ladder play (coming soon!), and ball hopper/ball machine rentals.
There is a program, event, and court access for everyone no matter their age or skill level.
Badminton
The Winnipeg Winter Club offers 5 of best badminton courts in Canada. We have coaching for kids aged 5 up to competitive adults. Our Junior Training programs are designed for novice and competitive players. Our athletes attend anywhere from 1-3 lessons a week with court time and game play in between. We offer adult programing, leagues and ladders for all levels. Para Badminton lessons are also offered.
Squash
The Squash Program at the Winnipeg Winter Club focuses on fun, fitness and competitive play for everyone from beginners to the top players in Manitoba. There are leagues and open court times available on our doubles court or on our three international courts.
Fitness Center
Our 8073 square foot newly renovated Fitness Centre, with fully equipped gym and separate aerobics studio is ideal for a complete workout.
We offer a wide range of fitness programming for adults, youth and children. Our programs include aerobics and spinning for cardiovascular fitness; pilates, yoga and yogaletes for balance, core strength and flexibility; muscle sculpt and circuit programs for weight training! If it’s personal training you are looking for, our certified personal trainers are available to assist you by designing a program to meet your individual needs.
Amenities
Ice Café – The Ice Cafe overlooks the Pool and the Skating. Choose from a wide variety of menu items, including daily lunch specials. The Ice Cafe is great for a quick lunch after your work out or for sharing dinner with your family.
The Bistro – The Bistro is a great place to enjoy a post game drink and snack or dinner with family and friends. We have a full service bar & menu.
